I’ve decided to build a new bigger greenhouse since moving back to Leitrim. Over the past month I’ve toyed with polytunnels, solar greenhouses and geodesic domes.
I’ve finally decided on a geodesic dome.
One problem is the slope, 1:10.
I think I can get around this problem by building a pony wall built on pier foundations. The wall will be higher at the bottom of the slope by about 80 cm. Currently it’s too hot to lay and cure concrete – it’s pushing 33° C, maybe next week?
